TGI Fridays Franchisee Shocked at Fake-Liquor Allegations in New Jersey Restaurants

New Jersey state officials accused 13 TGI Fridays restaurants of substituting premium liquor for cheap ones. The CEO of giant multiunit franchisee Briad Restaurant Group said he was shocked.

In a statement Thursday, the group said it "takes great pride in the quality of food and drink" it serves customers, Philly.com reported. Rick Barbrick, the president of Briad, said customers of his TGI Fridays franchises were they're treated "honestly and fairly." - Bizjournals

We've heard that one before: "I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling fake liquor is going on in here!"
