ROSELAND, N.J. – Franchise jobs in the United States were soft in September. Hiring of both full time and part time workers increased by only 16,930, according to payroll provider ADP.

ROSELAND, N.J.—Franchise jobs in the U.S. private sector increased by 27,910 during the month of June, according to ADP (Automatic Data Processing Inc.). Restaurants accounted for 75 percent of the total jobs gain in franchise establishments.
