Buffalo Wild Wings Store Sales Drop in Q2

Buffalo Wild Wings front facadeYesterday Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. (NASDAQ: BWLD) announced its financial results for the second quarter ending June 25, 2017 and it was not pretty. Same-restaurant sales decreased 1.2 percent at company-owned restaurants. Franchised restaurants dropped even more in same-restaurant sales, 2.1 percent.

Domino's Pizza Inc. announced Tuesday that U.S. same-restaurant sales for its second quarter grew 9.5 percent. That is the pizza chain’s 25th consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales. For the quarter, Domino’s had a net gain of 39 restaurant units in the United States.
