​ROSELAND, N.J.—Hires by U.S. franchise increased by a supersized 33,000 jobs during the month of September, according to the ADP National Franchise Report. Franchised restaurants made up roughly three-quarters of all franchise jobs, hiring 25,200. That was followed by auto dealers.

​ROSELAND, N.J.—U.S. private-sector franchise jobs increased by a whopping 33,300 hires during the month of July, according to a national survey. Nearly one in every five nonfarm private sector jobs that were added in July were by franchised establishments.
